Welcome to Year Two!
Mrs Hancock - Class Teacher
Loves musicals, theater, eating out and chatting with her friends. You might see Mrs Hancock enjoying a walk around Runcorn at the weekend. Her favourite animals are cats and the school hens!
Mrs Endemano - Class Teacher (Wednesdays)
Loves being outdoors and walks her beloved dog Duke around Cheshire. Mrs Endemano is originally from Northern Ireland and often goes back to visit family and friends. You might hear her practising her Spanish on Duo Lingo or playing the tin whistle.
Mrs Plaisted - Teaching Assistant
Loves painting and collaging and practises this a lot in and out of school. Mrs Plaisted often goes sailing and paddle boarding at the weekend and enjoys reading a good book sat with her cat on the sofa when not out and about.
About Year Two
In Year two, we are the oldest class in the infant department. We have lots of fun with our teachers in and out of our classroom.
We do many topics over the year including:
Runcorn – this topic includes a focus on the geography of The British Isles and a study of the bridges and canals in our home town.
Brave Nurses during the Crimean War - Mary Seacole and Florence Nightingale.
Great Fire Of London - We take a look into the life of Samuel Pepys.
We will be talking about famous people from the present day and the past and finding out how their lives have influenced and affected others.
